Thinking of Throwing a Party? Make It a Margarita Party!

So have you purchased that Margarita machine yet?  Have you found the best blenders for frozen drinks, or your favorite frozen margarita recipe yet?  Fooled around with a margarita mix or two?  Set up tiki hut bars in your basement or patio?

Yes!  Now that you have a margarita machine, or at least an idea to get one A.S.A.P., you have the perfect excuse for planning a special party for your friends -- just to make use of your new frozen margarita machine and frozen margarita recipe!

Besides the Margaritaville decorations, your margarita party should probably have a Mexican theme. In planning your shindig, first, come up with some creative ideas for mouth-watering appetizers. Don't forget it's principally a Margarita party, so some food ideas that will fit well with the theme would include slices of quesadillas, ceviche, nachos, crab cakes with poblano sauce, and tortilla chips with queso, salsa, bean dip, or guacamole. Fire up the grill and you can make skewers of shrimp, onions, and peppers. If you would like to concentrate on the festive margarita cocktails, then find a catering company to make the food for you, or just order ahead and pick them up from a local Mexican restaurant. You don't need to overdo the food part of your party.  People won't be expecting a full, sit-down meal if your invitation says it's a Margarita Party!

There are so many frozen margarita recipes, you'll have a great time deciding on one particular frozen margarita recipe for your margarita machine.  Or two.  Or three.  For the kids or for those who are designated drivers or who prefer not to have any alcohol, your margarita machine can also pose as one of the best blenders for frozen drinks to make virgin margaritas, smoothies, or even shakes.

Don't forget to experiment with all the recipes ahead of time, so you can equip your tiki hut bars with all the supplies and ingredients you'll need for the party.  Make sure you have plenty of ice on hand. And don't forget the salt, salt, salt (for lining the rims of the margarita glasses).

Almost everything mentioned above can be purchased online, so you can mostly sit back and order from the comfort of your tiki bar!  You can have a lot of fun checking out all the paper goods, such as napkins and plates; plastic goods, such as plastic margarita glasses and cups; and extra festive accessories such as stirrers and paper umbrellas for the drinks, inexpensive sombreros or straw hats, sunglasses, centerpieces, and even strings of party lights.

On the day of the party, blow up colorful balloons and hang them up or fill them with helium so they can be suspended in the air.  Set up your music program to include some Mexican party music, such as mariachi or some famous Latin pop artists.

Now you can see that having the best party on the block starts with only one thing -- a Margarita machine!  What are you waiting for?  Order one today and let the fun begin!
