When it comes to planning your child's party we all want the best but at the same time have the planning and party run quite smoothly.
There are many things to keep track of and a few things to keep in mind when planning your child's party. It's important to keep organized and make the best out of the planning. Remember something isn't work if you are enjoying what you are doing.
If you are feeling overwhelmed and stressed out ask some relatives and friends to give you a hand. A birthday or any party for your little one is quite important and will create forever and long lasting memories.
A smooth party happens when you:
1. Plan at least six weeks ahead
2. Send those invitations 2 to 4 weeks before the party
3. What food, appetizers, entrees, beverages and desserts will be served
4. What theme will we have?
5. Will I serve loot bags or party favors
6. Keep on track of those RSVP's
7. What decorations should I use?
When I plan a party for kids I create a kids party planner. You can grab a binder and keep in track of all the to-does, important dates and reminders. Keeping a full month calendar in the binder as well. This way all the important information is right in front of you and all the details are covered.
Whether your on a budget or not be sure to have one. It is quite simple to buy stuff you don't really need. So make your list and stick with it when going out for all your decorations, food and supplies.
