Nothing makes party planning for kids easier than using the trusted themes that have proven themselves over and over which include:.

Make the party an outing.

Getting out to a place where the guests can be active is a great alternative to having the party at your home. Parks, playgrounds, theaters and zoos are great places to consider. Having your party outside also lets you avoid buying lots of decorations and having to deal with cleaning up after the party is over. You always want to ask your little one what she likes before going ahead with any of the following themes. If you have a big guest list, don’t hesitate to get other parents to help.

The little princess.

Most girls love the thought of being a princess. Because of this, princess parties are usually a great choice. Most of the time, you’ll want to have a guest list made up of all girls. However if you want to have boys come, each one can dress up as a prince. Princess dresses and attire are great for theming your party too. Hire a princess to come to the party and tell her princess stories. They can do dances and princess activities too.

Theme party with ponies.

Ponies are another big hit with the girls. Real ponies are not always easy to accommodate (unless you have a pony ranch near you). Everyone gets a ride and parents get a good photo opportunity.

If it is summertime, hold a luau themed party.

These are great to have at pools and including flowers, grass skirts and Hawaiian music are great touches. Get parents involved by getting adult sizes of these items for them to wear. Have beach themed games like limbo. Inflatable pools and water toys can be a great substitute if you don’t have access to a pool.

Have a fashion theme party.

If your little girl is into clothes consider theming your party around fashion and great outfits.

Add a runway and some in vogue elements like sunglass and flash bulbs and you are well on your way. You can do this with a low cost approach as well. Making your own fashions or getting them from thrift stores help saves cost. Having a photographer there to snap fashion photos is a great touch you can also add.

Throw a perfect kids party with original custom invitations. Never make a bad impression with your guests, start off on the right foot by visiting Bumpercards personal stationery, custom invitations and personalized announcements.
